Red Sox Fan Takes Baseball To The Face

This Boston Red Sox fan was just hoping to bring home a souvenir. Something that he could display on his fireplace to remember his front row seats at Game 2 of the 2013 ALDS. Instead he went home with a giant welt on his chin.

After watching this GIF a couple of times, you can see that the ball skipped off the rain tarp which gave it an unexpected redirection that landed on his chin.

I love the older guy who just looked at him in disgust.
