Rockets Announcer, “Lakers Pooped Their Big-Boy Pants”

After the Lakers lost to the Orlando Magic on Sunday, Kobe Bryant indirectly told Pau Gasol [via ESPN] that he need to stop his whining.

“Put your big-boy pants on,” Bryant spouted. “Just adjust. Just adjust. You can’t whine about it. You can’t complain about it.”

Bryant probably had no idea that his quote would be used against him in one of the best NBA calls of the season.

The Houston Rockets overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat the Lakers on Tuesday night and when the game was over, Rockets announcer Craig Ackerman gave us this gem.

“The game is over! The game is over! The Lakers have just pooped their big boy pants and the Rockets have come from 17 down to win 107–105.”
