Russell Westbrook Not Paying Attention In Late Game 3 Huddle

Check out Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook not really paying attention in a late Game 3 huddle in the 2012 NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

That huddle, by the way, was called by coach Scotty Brooks to draw up an inbound play. So it’s not shocking that there was a miscommunication between Westbrook and inbounder, Thabo Sefolosha causing a turnover in the 4th quarter with 16.2 seconds left and OKC trailing by 4. Game over. You can actually see Sefolosha say “what” after he passed the ball and Westbrook went the other way.

Maybe Westbrook was concentrating on what he would wear in the post game press conference as oppose to where he should go during the play. Details always get in the way.
