You’ll spend the first 5 seconds of this video just completely laughing your ass off at George Fuehrmeier’s giant golden puffy sleeves.

Then he performs a 2.5 stay-cross, and you’ll probably say out loud “Holy Shit!”

This video is from the 1985 Breckenridge Ski Ballet tournament. Ski Ballet attempted to make it into the 1988 and 1992 Olympics but failed to get approval from the IOC.

In competition, skiers had 90 seconds to perform their routines set to music. They were judged on a scoring system like figure skating.

If you’ve ever skied before, you’ll understand how mind blowing it is to think about doing jumps like this.
