University of South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier has never been one to hold back his thoughts. When ESPN’s Heather Cox interviewed Spurrier during halftime of their 35–7 win over the Georgia Bulldogs, Spurrier was not happy with how his offense played in the second quarter.

“Offensively, we kind of pooped around that second quarter.”

Gotta love the “old ball coach.” In fact, earlier in the game ESPN had a quote from Spurrier when he talked about how disappointed he was that the Georgia vs South Carolina matchup was moved back a few weeks of the season.

“I don’t know. I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended,”

Zing!
