No, this isn’t me recovering after a rough Saturday night or praying to the toilet gods that everything will come out quick and clean. I’m Tebowing!

What is Tebowing? Let me explain.

In Tim Tebow’s first start at quarterback for the Denver Broncos he lead the Broncos to a dramatic overtime win over the Miami Dolphins by throwing two touchdown passes in the last 2:44 of the game. After the win, Tebow took a knee and started to pray as his teammates jumped around and celebrated.

Denver native Jared Kleinstein and several friends snapped a picture of themselves in the same pose that Tebow took after the game outside of a bar in New York City. They dubbed the action “Tebowing” and posted their picture on Facebook. The picture received such a large amount of likes that it inspired Kleinstein to start the website Tebowing.com. The site is focused on users submitting pictures of “tebowing” moments.

Even Tebow himself has jumped on board with the Tebowing craze, tweeting the definition and showing his admiration.

Tim Tebow has become the most divisive player in all of sports and we are seeing ANOTHER Tim Tebow internet phenomena happening as well. >Tebow

Recently ESPN.com featured an article Time for Elway to think post-Tebow, but the bigger story is what happened in the comment section. An assault on the comment section featuring >Tebow (things “greater than” Tebow) . The article was posted on October 30th and at this publishing time (a week later) there are comments being posted almost every minute. Spend a few minutes there and I promise you will laugh hysterically and probably cringe at what is being posted.

Tebowing > Tebow

Update: Alright we couldn’t help but get into the fun of the Tebow-mania. Check out some “>Tebow” shirts that are now available in our store.
