What Did Brent Musburger Say That Had To Be Censored By ESPN?

Early in the 4th quarter of the Alabama vs Michigan college football on Saturday night the camera cut to Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit in the booth as Musburger started to talk about the dominating performance by Alabama.

Out of nowhere, the audio cutout.

After a few seconds of silence, Musburger turns to Herbstreit while barely holding back his laughter and says, “pick a SEC team to play for the National Championship.”

Musburger said he had a “Freudian Slip,” which would make you believe he said a naughty sexual word. Anyone read lips?

Update 9/3/12 3:11pm est: Deadspin was able to track down the unedited version of the video and Musburger said “piss” instead of “picks.” Disappointing. I was hoping for something way more awesome.
