Yes, That Is A Contact Lens Flying Through The Air

Duke won its 5th National Championship when they defeated Wisconsin in the 2015 Men’s NCAA Basketball Finals. Not only did Duke win the battle on the court but they also won the battle of contact lens.

Early in the first half Josh Gasser was poked in the eye which caused his contact lens to pop up in the air, which the camera were able to capture beautifully.

Here is a closer view of the contact lens flying through the air.

I’ve never seen this happen before. Yes, I’ve witnessed contact lens being knocked out but none that were sent into the air and captured by a camera. Apparently, a small piece was stuck in Gasser’s eye. Ouch, bro.

Hopefully it didn’t impact his vision in seeing Sam Dekker’s hot girlfriend.
