My sons are everything to me.
As much as I am drawn to nature, I am also compelled to nurture — to constantly evolve in the ever-changing role of parent to be the caregiver and guide I was created to be.
My sons, born with yet incurable illnesses, who struggled through almost two decades for diagnosis and the possibility of receiving equitable care, still struggle in countless ways.
They are my heroes.
Our journeys as parents are not designed to be smooth sailing under blue skies every day. Storms buffet our children, and because of our relationships with them, they also buffet us.
