Here are twenty (20) reasons to believe the foregoing proposition. You are free to share your thoughts afterwards.
- It is better to be hungry than to be ill. Hunger is a sign of health. The ill do not often have appetite for food.
- It is better to lose a job than lose your life. The living could get another, if not a better job.
- It is better to be down and happy than be up and sad. Happiness has all the ingredients to lift one up. Sadness has all the tools to drag one down.
- It is better to be foolish than to be mad. A fool needs a wise counsel to become wise while a mad man needs a psychiatric emergency to be treated.
- It is better to be poor and hopeful than be rich and hopeless. The hopeful could wait for his time and turn. The hopeless could commit suicide.
- It is better to be nobody than somebody. This is because “Nobody is perfect.”
- It is better to be learned for a leadership position without any than to be in leadership position without being learned for it.
