How did you find out about this internship opportunity at Dott?

After graduating from King’s College London, I decided to join a company that can impact actual change in the world — and sustainability was the main aspect I was looking for. When I saw that Dott has an open position for a Marketing Intern on LinkedIn, I looked into it and decided to apply. I had seen many of Dott’s scooters on the streets of London and was always intrigued by the service they provide and how revolutionary sustainable micro mobility could become.

After I did my research about Dott, the main factor that attracted me to apply was that it seemed like they go above and beyond to ensure that sustainability is at the forefront of their mission and vision.🍃

Define your internship experience at Dott so far in three words..

Exciting, Motivating, Educational

What do you like the most about your internship with us?

No day is the same at Dott — from strategic and technical work to manual hands-on work. I learn something new everyday and you’re often working on several projects at once. There is always this hype at the start of the week of how my week is going to look like. I am so grateful to be part of such a great company! 🛴⚡️

Our mission is “Free our cities with clean rides for Everyone”. Do you think new generations are really aware of the importance of sustainability?

I believe my generation (Gen Z) is very concerned with the global environmental challenges we’re facing as it’s our future. We’re seeing climate change unfold right in front of our eyes every single day. We’re committed to the betterment of our planet — by changing our buying habits to changing our lifestyles entirely. 🌍

One way I personally contribute to the good of our planet is by following a plant-based diet — which by itself reduces my emissions greatly. Thus, being part of a company whose motto is sustainability fits perfectly within my ethics and values. 🌱

What advice would you give to someone starting their internship at Dott today?

My advice would be ask loads of questions — no questions is a stupid question at Dott. Everyone is very supportive and welcoming. 🙌🏽
