Introducing RightMesh Connectivity Stories

Internet accessibility is a human right as defined by the United Nations in 2015. Yet, 3.9 billion people (56% of the world) are unconnected because of a lack of infrastructure or affordability constraints.

We want to help tell the stories of those who struggle with connectivity or remain unconnected. Our new social video series, Connectivity Stories, will do that.

Created by RightMesh Ambassadors and Nodebodies from around the world, these social videos give insight into the connectivity challenges — such as price, coverage, lack of infrastructure, or government intervention — faced by people every day.

For our first Connectivity Story, RightMesh Ambassador, Zack Matere, interviews Eunice Jama from Soy, Kenya. For Eunice, connectivity costs almost 100 shillings a day, which adds up quickly. She goes into town to download books and video tutorials to avoid data fees. Watch her story below.
