KYC & AML Process for the RightMesh Crowd Contribution Round

Thank you for your interest in the RightMesh Token Generating Event. This article explains the KYC process which must be completed in order to participate in the TGE. The KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money-laundering) process for RightMesh is being managed by Bitcoin Suisse.

You MUST complete the full KYC and AML process and be approved in order to contribute to either phase of the Token Generating Event.

Please note that it takes approximately 5–10 business days for your registration to be reviewed by Bitcoin Suisse. If you intend on contributing to this TGE, we strongly recommend registering with Bitcoin Suisse as soon as possible to ensure your application will be reviewed in time.

Steps to complete KYC & AML:

  1. Visit https://bitcoinsuisse.ch/rightmesh and click Register.
  2. You’ll be redirected to the Bitcoin Suisse login and registration page (https://ico.bitcoinsuisse.ch/). Sign up with your Google account or provide an email and password to begin.
  3. Next, an email will be sent to your email address to verify your address. Click on the link in the email to verify.
  4. Once logged in, you will enter your personal information.
    IMPORTANT: The name and address you enter here must be the same on ALL documentation that you submit.
    Click ‘Continue’ once all information is entered.

5. Upload a copy of your passport.

NOTE: To reduce glare/ uploading issues that may cause a delay in your processing, it is recommended to scan your passport and convert the file into a PDF.

Although Bitcoin Suisse accepts other forms of identification WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND submitting your passport as it has a higher acceptance rate. Expect delays in processing if you provide an alternate form of identification.

After all files are uploaded, click ‘Continue’ on the bottom right hand side of the page.

Your ID must meet the following requirements:

  • ID needs to be a valid and official ID
  • ID needs to have your name, date of birth and date of expiry on it
  • ID needs to have a recent picture on it
  • The ID needs to be in Latin letters otherwise it needs to be translated and notarized.

6. Upload a selfie of yourself holding your passport. In your Selfie ID, your whole face needs to be visible and the whole ID/passport needs to be visible and readable. The ID in your Selfie ID has to be the same as the uploaded ID image.

7. Submit proof of residency documentation.

Proof of residency must show the address where you live, not your work address or place of birth.

Documents uploaded for proof of residency MUST contain your address and full name.The name and address must be consistent throughout your submission process.

All documents must be scanned and uploaded in high resolution.

Approved documents for Proof of Residency include:

  • Utility bill (with your current address on it)
  • Mortgage statement (with your current address on it)
  • House or motor insurance certificate (with your current address on it)
  • Bank statement (with your current address on it)
  • Official residency affidavit
  • Residence permit (with your current address on it)

Documents that will not be approved for Proof of Residency include:

  • Restaurant bill
  • Envelope with address on it
  • Cut of documents
  • Delivery slip
  • Shopping bill
  • Documents older than six months

IMPORTANT: Documents must be submitted in Latin script. If your proof of residency is in another script you will need to have it translated and notarized.

Only Documents Submitted in Latin Script will be Accepted

Once all documents are uploaded click ‘Continue’ on the bottom right corner.

8. Click ‘Download Form’ under section Form A. Download, print and fill in the information by hand on form A. Make sure that you are writing legibly in a Latin script for the place and date. Your signature must match all other signatures on documentation submitted, for example your passport.

Once you have completed the form, scan and upload Form A as a high resolution document.

9. Click ‘Fill Form’ under Form 1A. Fill in all of the information requested. All information must be submitted in Latin Script.

  • Current Profession = Your job title
  • Industry/ Sector = What industry or sector you work in. For example: Technology, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Purpose of Business Relationship = Explanation of why you are establishing a relationship with Bitcoin Suisse. For this section you can input ‘To contribute to RightMesh TGE’.
  • Expected Usual Trading Volume per Month = How much you are planning to trade per month. To determine this look at your trading history over the past year and determine the average per month. If you are planning to hold tokens and not trade put ‘0’.
  • Annual Income (CHF) = Your annual income from your main employment converted into the Swiss Franc. Use an online currency converter to determine the amount.
  • Origin of Funds Used in Business Relationship with Bitcoin Suisse = How did you come by the funds that you are planning to use to contribute to the TGE. Select the one that applies.

You will need to provide details regarding how you obtained these funds. The more detail your provide, the better to expedite the process.

IMPORTANT: Following Bitcoin Suisse’s review of Form 1A they may contact you and request documentation for the ‘Proof of Origin of Funds’ that you have selected. Only input what you are able to provide documentation for.

  • Type of Incoming Assets = In what way will you submit funds to Bitcoin Suisse. You are able to select multiple options.

**Only ETH will be accepted during the Crowd Contribution Round.

Following completion of all information, click ‘Finish’

10. Click ‘Download Form’ under the Form 1A section.

Read through and confirm that all the information entered is correct. Print, sign by hand, scan and upload Form 1A as a high resolution document.

IMPORTANT: The signature must match all other signatures on submitted documentation.

Click ‘Finish’ in the bottom right hand corner once file is uploaded.

11. Complete the fast-track KYC form to prioritize your application: https://www.rightmesh.io/bitcoinsuisse_registration

You will receive an email confirmation from RightMesh once this is completed.

12. Once you submit your application and fast-track form, Bitcoin Suisse will review the provided information.

IMPORTANT: At this time, additional documentation may be required for ‘Proof of Origins of Funds’. Documentation will be submitted through the Bitcoin Suisse platform.

13. KYC & AML approved participants will receive a confirmation email from Bitcoin Suisse.

** Please note, the “Register Now” button for the RightMesh TGE within the Bitcoin Suisse site will be disabled until the Crowd Contribution Round begins.

  • Hard Cap: USD $30 Million
  • Total Token Supply: 129,498,559 MESH
  • TGE Allocation: 38,850,000 MESH (30%)
