With the exciting successful completion of our Crowd Contribution Round of our TGE the team is switching gears to focus on the journey ahead. We will be concentrated on developing partnerships, planning for social impact, and of course putting our heads down and working on the platform. The events that we will be attending in June reflect those goals.

If you are in the area for one of the dates listed below, please reach out to us on Telegram and learn how to join the Nodebody movement!

June 1st: Representing RightMesh AG’s parent company, Left, a team of us will be attending the Technology Impact Awards in Vancouver. Founded 25 years ago, the Technology Impact Awards celebrate the successes of the companies, people and innovations that are transforming the British Columbia technology industry. Left is nominated for the Community Engagement Award for the third time, with back-to-back wins in 2015 and 2016. Our fingers are crossed for a great night!

June 1st: RightMesh project Product Manager, Blockchain, Brianna MacNeil begins her ‘Blockchain for Social Impact Tour’ at BSIC Conference in Washington, DC. The conference aims to ensure that Blockchain technology reaches the vulnerable populations who need it and stand to benefit most from it by starting conversations with governments and the larger tech community around the world. Brea will be meeting RightMesh advisor Micha Benoliel, CEO of Nodle. Micha will be speaking on a panel on ‘Freedom of Press, Fake News, and Connectivity’ and joined by Melissa Jun Rowley, Tech and Social Impact Journalist; Nancy Payne, COO of PeachTech Labs; Matthew Iles, CEO and Co-Founder of Civil: Self-Sustaining Journalism; Steven Haft, SVP Innovation at Time Inc, and Heidi L. Sieck, Principal at Democrats.com LLC.

June 2nd — 3rd: Brianna will be continuing her tour by heading to New York to speak at the Impact Summit, the leading conference for ambitious tech students who want to change the world. Brianna will be speaking on ‘Connectivity Around The World’ at 11:00 AM on June 2nd. At 11:30 AM, Brianna will be joining Nydia Zhang, Co-Founder of the Social Alpha Foundation and Jehan Chu, Founder of Kenetic, on what is sure to be a lively panel on ‘Blockchain Global Impact’.

In addition to the conference portion, the Impact Summit will also be hosting a blockchain for social impact hackathon. Brianna is proud to have been selected as a judge, and looking forward to seeing what the students create on the 3rd.

June 4th: On the final day of her whirlwind ‘Blockchain for Social Impact Tour’, Brianna will be attending the Inaugural Blockchain For Impact Global Summit in New York. Hosted at the United Nations, the Summit’s envisions and encourages the development of radically creative decentralized solutions that are in the interest of developing a safe, fair and sustainable future for all, in alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The summit brings together amazing speakers, and aligned individuals from around the world, and Brianna cannot wait to be a part of it.

June 6th-8th: Representing RightMesh AG’s parent company Left, Co-Founders, John Lyotier and Chris Jensen, will be heading to the Okanagan Valley in Canada to attend Metabridge. Metabridge selects the most innovative, high growth technology scale-ups from hundreds that apply across the country and Left is honoured to have been selected as on of the Top 15 Canadian Scale-Up Companies of 2018. Chris and John are looking forward to collaborating with other founders and making some great connections.

June 21st: RightMesh project Mesh Engineer, Srilekha Kirsh will be speaking at Decentralization in Action hosted by Bluzelle and Women Who Code Vancouver, in Vancouver, Canada. The event will be a presentation and Q&A on how decentralization works- by referencing the inner workings of Right Mesh’s ‘Decentralized Mobile Mesh Networking Platform’ and Bluzelle’s ‘Decentralized Database Platform’. This is sure to be a talk you don’t want to miss!
