RightMesh Partners with Refugium Foundation to Help Develop ‘Decent’ Documentary
We are pleased to announce that the RightMesh team has partnered with the Refugium Foundation to participate in their upcoming documentary, “Decent — How Blockchain Can Change the World.” The film plans to feature real-life use cases of Distributed Ledger Technology which offer solutions to societal issues ranging from a lack of internet connectivity to aiding refugees. Decent will be one of the first documentaries to explore how blockchain companies like RightMesh can have a massive social impact and benefit real people every day.
RightMesh is joining fellow blockchain projects Golem Project, Streamr, DAOstack and Colendi as existing partners in the film. These projects range from being the first global market for idle computer power, an open source marketplace for real time data, an operating system for artificial intelligence and a decentralized credit scoring and microcredit system for the unbanked.
SXSW
Thank you to all of those who voted and commented for RightMesh CEO, John Lyotier, alongside Senior Advisor of MIT Media Lab, Michael Casey, CEO of Mattereum, Vinay Gupta, and COO/Co-Founder of Colendi, Mihriban Ersin to speak on ‘Combating Global Poverty on the Blockchain’ at SXSW 2019!
We had fantastic community support, with over 150 comments on why the talk was important to have in the line up of speakers. Voting closed on August 30th, and we are waiting for the results.
We will do the official draw for the Trezor wallet on Monday, and will post the results to our social and Telegram channels.
Events
- August 27th-29th: The RightMesh marketing team attended CTA18 in Vancouver, Canada. Our team greatly enjoyed hearing from industry leaders such as Hana Abaza from Shopify Plus on product marketing, and Andy Crestodina from Orbit Media on content strategy.
The learnings from the conference will be used to shape our marketing strategy moving forward, and we are excited to start sharing new, industry driven content with our community.
