Earlier this week, we rolled out our most anticipated feature, which we are calling “Teams”. Previously on Riipen, if a group of students wanted to complete a project, they would each start and submit to the project separately. All that has now changed with the introduction of teams!

When visiting a project page, users will now see a “My Team” label on the right hand sidebar. Within this section, a user will be able to invite other users to join their team and collaborate on a project together. The users both start, and submit to the project as a team.

For employers, participants will now be shown as a team and no longer as individual users. Users can now also be rated based on their team effort, or if you so chose, you may still rate them individually.

Over the coming months, we look forward to adding more control options to teams, such as creating team leaders, and allowing private access to projects for team creation.
