The Client

Safer is a startup company based out of Karachi offering routine transportation services. Safety, seamless monthly booking process, door-to-door service, and convenience are key reasons behind its success.

The Problem

The founders of the safer app realised there was not a single service available in town that would offer monthly door to door secured transport services without the need of making a booking every day.

The client’s need was to build a hassle-free routine transport solution for everyday commute in a protected, secured, controlled, and monitored environment with monthly bookings for school, university, and office-going people. One time booking would be valid for the whole month and customers would be provided with door to door pick and drop off services.

The Solution

RIKSOF was responsible for building a highly feature-rich app for both platforms from scratch. User experience was given a lot of emphasis from the start of the project to ensure a seamless booking process.

Some key features of the application include:

  • End to end monthly booking execution via app alone.
  • Live Tracking via GPS and Google Maps Integration.
  • OTP verification.
  • Notifications, reviews, and ratings.
  • Online payment using Jazz cash.
  • Admin Panel for managing and monitoring operations.

The Result

The application has been successfully launched on both the app store and the play store. In less than 12 months, despite being non-operational for a few months due to COVID-19, they have accomplished the following:

  • 10,000+ registered users
  • Shuttle service initiated for the first time in KU.
  • Several MOUs signed with different universities, colleges and schools
  • JazzCash as brand and promotion partners
  • Growing user base and new bookings every day!
