As an important reminder and follow up to the blogs for the End of Life announcements for PubNub and Password (ROPC) Flow, both of these services will be discontinued and any applications using PubNub for notifications or Password (ROPC) Flow for authentication will stop working March 31, 2024.

The good news is that you still have time to make these changes, and tutorials are available to help you with the transition.

For your applications currently utilizing PubNub please read our tutorial on migrating from PubNub to WebSockets.

For applications currently using Password Flow (ROPC) for authentication, please review our tutorial on migrating to alternative authentication methods (JWT or OAuth).

Please make these changes as quickly as possible to prevent disruption to your existing applications. We would also recommend reviewing your current applications to ensure all applications have been updated.

If you have questions or need additional assistance, please submit a Developer Support ticket.
