When people ask me what I think the best part of RingCentral Developers is — the answer has always been easy. It isn’t the fact that we provide a single communications platform for business needs, have over 500+ APIs, or continue to be one of the most award-winning communications platforms. It’s our incredible community of developers.

As we continue to the second half of 2023, I personally am looking forward to the opportunity to engage with our community more and have the opportunity to meet as many developers as possible either virtually or (finally) in-person. Here are just a few of the events we have upcoming, and opportunities for our incredible community members to attend and interact with one another —

June Developer Meetup: Video SDK, Virtual

June 22, 2023, from 11am-noon PDT

Join us for our monthly June Meetup as Byrne Reese walks through our new Video SDK, allowing you to create seamless, white-labeled video experiences in your web, mobile, or desktop applications. Powered by RingCentral Video, our Video SDK allows you to choose the components you want while bringing security, accessibility, and AI to your video interactions.

July Developer Meetup: AI API, virtual

July 20, 2023, from 11am-noon PDT

Our July Developer Meetup features our Director of Product, Platform Craig Chan who will be sharing our new AI API — allowing you to transcribe, diarize, and summarize business calls, meetings, or nearly any audio or video file. Unlike many APIs that require numerous calls to get the information you need — a single API call can provide transcription, summarization, speaker breakdown, emotion analysis, and more!

August Developer Meetup: Social Messaging API

July 20, 2023, from 11am-noon PDT

Join me for our August Meetup as we take a look at our new Social Messaging API that allows you to connect across numerous social media channels including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn, Twitter, Viber, and more — all with a single API. On top of voice and SMS, with our Social Messaging API, you can ensure you are engaging with your prospects, customers, partners, and community across the channels they prefer, and with a global presence.

Code Together 2023

TBA — September/ October

I couldn’t be more excited to provide a sneak peek into our upcoming annual Developer Conference — Code Together 2023. This year’s event will span two tracks over two days with something for everyone, covering no/low code tools as well as diving deep into our most popular APIs. Of course, you can also expect thought-provoking keynotes, industry insights, product announcements, and time to interact with the RingCentral Developers team.

October Developer Meetup: TBA

October 19, 2023, from 11am-noon PDT

While I can’t say too much about this Meetup just yet, I can say this is a meetup you probably don’t want to miss. Building on Code Together 2023, this meetup will be our end-of-year meetup for the 2023 series.

API World 2023, hybrid

October 24–26, 2023 in Santa Clara, CA
October 31 — November 2, 2023, online

Once again we’ll be participating in this year’s API World, the largest API conference dedicated to best practices and new technologies. API World takes place both in person and online.

Additional events, ISV events, and 2024

As a reminder, you can always find our list of upcoming events on our Developer Events calendar — with events being added regularly.

Finally, we are working on launching a Meetup program for our ISV partners (look for more information later this year) as well as planning our 2024 events calendar. If there are events we should be at or you would like us to participate in, just let us know!

Thank you for being part of our incredible developer community, and I truly hope to see you at one of these upcoming events. Likewise, if you’re ever in the Bay Area, please do not hesitate to let me know (I’m on Twitter and LinkedIn) so we can grab coffee or lunch!
