TrustNote Software Developers Network (TSDN) Mascot Design Contest
Today, TrustNote have announced that a competition will take place to decide TrustNote Software Developers Network (“TSDN”)’s official Mascot. Designers and members of the public will be invited to submit Mascot design proposals. There will be an innovative judging process whereby a panel of 8 TrustNote community members across the globe will select the winning set of designs from a shortlist based on public vote.
We invite all community members to put their creativity to work and help TSDN design a friendly, fun, playful, and colorful Mascot!
TrustNote is an open source software project that is challenging today’s blockchains who have not embraced true decentralization, prohibiting the innovators and future thinkers from creating the change they want to see in the world. TrustNote is exists to make development easy, fast and scalable, and to bring trust to an untrusting environment so you can — dream — invent — and create without constraint!
TSDN, the TrustNote Software Developers Network is a place where developers can find APIs, sample code and documentation that teaches him/her how to build decentralized applications running on a fast, scalable, and truly decentralized blockchain powered by TrustNote.
The target audience for TSDN are software developers, innovators, and makers who are trying to develop truly decentralized applications. The Mascot should fit with the general open source aesthetic, which is friendly, fun, playful, and colorful. It should be something that a developer would want to wear on a T-shirt.
The contest runs from 17th Sept to 30th Nov 2018 and is open to ALL.
Winners
There will be up to 3 winners to be selected depending on the quality of the submissions.
Prize
Prize will include the following tokens:
- $TTT
- $TFans (a TRC20 token to encourage community participation in TrustNote community)
- $TSDN (a TRC20 token to encourage developer participation in TrustNote Developers Network).
The amount of tokens to be rewarded to the winner(s) will be decided by a panel of 8 TrustNote community members across the globe. The exact amount will be announced at Dec 2018 together when we announce the shortlist. Then the panel will select the winning set of designs from the shortlist.
All winners including the ones in the shortlist will be giving the opportunity to convert their designs into a TrustNote Notable, — a crypto collectible item created on the top of the TRC-721 standard when it is become available!
Submission Guidelines
Submissions will be accepted until 30th November, 2018.
Multiple submissions are allowed, but each design must be submitted individually.
All mascot designs must adhere to the following requirements:
- Place on white background;
- Submit in high-resolution, 300 dpi jpg or png format;
- File must not be larger than 7 megabytes;
- Including a 250-word description of the design, which will include an explanation of what inspired the design;
- Entries should be submitted in a digital format by email to bob@trustnote.org.
By submitting artwork to this design contest, you warrant and represent that the artwork is original to you, that you hold exclusive and perpetual rights to all intellectual property rights in the work and that you have the right to grant all intellectual property rights in the work to TrustNote. Further, you represent and warrant that the design that you submit is an original work that is not, to your knowledge, confusingly similar or substantially similar to any existing design.
