We are Ella and Caroline, two college students passionate about reading and immersing ourselves in new worlds through a vast array of genres! We also share a commitment to learning more about the societal challenges facing women and girls around the globe.

We aim to better understand the complex and intersectional experiences of women through their own words. When we discover other women’s stories, we can understand how to best take action on behalf of their personally-informed, noble causes through activism, advocacy, and writing of our own.

So, we decided to create this community of readers to engage with issues ranging from girls’ education access to gender bias in medical research. We hope you’ll tag along for our action-oriented reads, resources, and daily book discussions.

We also hope that this space can simply sprinkle some understanding and light into your days with spell-binding women-authored reads. 📚
