Several cuts, bruises, brainstorms, creative overloads, verbal diarrhoea later we are close to the finish line. Our final prototype consists of a lighter body, better movement of wheels and finally actually something like a prototype. The problems we faced during the prototyping were first identified in the small algodoo presentation we made.

We decided on reducing the weight of the structure to support the wheels movement. We also created a fulcrum with very simple tools to allowfor better isolation of the wheels. Over all our group progress was slow but it was good enough to get us a physical prototype.

Next we started working on making our chart to show the progress we have made in creating a solution. (sorry fotor dosnt remove.their headers :p)

We, though, were soon to realize how are product was still not functional to climb stairs… So we relooked at our feel from climbing stairs to travelling in a wheel chair with greater comfort. Just like our product we worked our way through a bump with ease.

Despite a few minor problems our product managed to tread the unpaved road with ease. In the end, after a expert helped us realize, we didnt requure motorization the helpers job had decreased greatly like we had wanted and wheel chair could now travel on roads they couldnt before.

The next hours went into making the video for instructables and taking an interview of our progress which is submitted for instructables. Over all our experience of science day has been great and there is nothing to say that can deny it…

Until the next science day keep rock’in and roll’in
