Hello World — The Mystery machine

All of us love Mystery inc. from Scooby Doo! They never believed a myth, and always solved crimes with proof, great investigation, and of course Scooby Snacks!

Keeping our user in mind, we’re brainstorming to help the blind navigate — and one form of the device came up that all our members seemed to appreciate — the shoe. If we fit in enough sensors in a shoe, we can signal the user which direction to turn in, to avoid any obstable, and continue to move smoothly.

Imagine you’re blind, and want to take a run in the park. You just put these shoes on, and start. If anyone’s going to collide with you, you’ll get a vibration to turn towards the side, so you won’t crash. A vibration to the right part of your feet will nudge you to turn quickly!

We had another idea — not for the disabled, but if we get enough time, we’d love to make it’s prototype. Having seating plates loosly attached to the seat in our buses, so when we’re going over a speedbreaker, it won’t be nearly as bad to crash on!
