Illustrating our thinking

As you can see, we’ve made our mindmap. While we’ve had ideas we’d love to work on — we’ve decided to work on the seat machanism, given the amount of time we have.

The designs you see on the mindmap come from lots of brainstorming, and we’ll probably require more as we make our first prototype tomorrow.

You can think of our mechanism as something like that, except cheaper, easier to build and portable. That’s probably a lot of key factors, and I shouldn’t say “except”!

We helped you empathize with the users of the chair in our post yesterday, and we’ve come up with an imagine today!

Imagine if any chair you sat on could help you up — with little effort of your own. Just press the button, and voila, you’re up! No more awkward moments, calling for help to get up, or just sitting around because your chari doesn’t have armrests. All that changes.

Excited? Let us know by adding a reply below! (We really need help coming up with a name for our invention 😄)
