Intelligent Companion For The Visually Impaired

Our first project’s prototype completion is nearing and we thought that we should give you a heads up about what we are exactly doing.

Using an Arduino board and a pair of ultrasonic sensor this can detect objects and their proximity essentially alerting people around them that they are near an obstacle.

Now you are probably wondering why the hell a product for a blind person has a white LED on it. Because we are in prototyping phase we are testing it out, once our device starts working as planned we will replace the light with a buzzer that will sound every time an object is in front of it.
