PLEASURE IS NOT HAPPINESS!

The more I look around the more I realise that most beings have confused pleasure with Happiness.
Pleasure is a momentary hit that always ends. Not only pleasure ends but it ends in pain because pleasure is the polar opposite of pain. You cannot experience one without experiencing the other. Happiness on the other hand is our Nature; It is not something we do. But because most of the world is unaware of this, they keep on seeking full heartedly for pleasure which is ironically what is creating the pain and sadness they want to run away from.
This very Earth is suffering so much and being exploited so brutally because it has to provide for this insane demand for pleasure. More tastes, more styles, more miles, more toys, more effects, more speed, more sensations, more times, more, more, more. What planet could endure such insatiable behaviour?
Through Grace or suffering many beings have stopped this violent game of running after pleasure in the hopes of finding happiness as they saw how fruitless it was and how much pain and suffering it created in the end on both themselves and others. But more importantly because they realised that Happiness was always present within them and was simply being missed due to how involved their attention was in this constant seeking for pleasure.
So until we are willing to turn our attention inwards, away from pleasure, the Happiness which we already are will go unnoticed and the desperate seeking for pleasure and the means to provide it will continue and suffering and destruction will naturally be the outcome.
“Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside.”
