Happy April, The Month of Blooming Into Who You Want To Be!

Increase and improve your productivity with these habits so that you can get more done in your everyday life.

I will be discussing:

1. Reduce Screen Time Before Bed

2. Meal Prep Or Drink Prep

3. Making A Daily/Weekly To-Do List

And be sure to read my last blog on “Past Blog: How To Eliminate Self-Doubt In Your Life” & “FREE Download: April 2020 Desktop Wallpapers”.

If I could some up this book into one word it would have to be the word Bloom: groomed and cultivated to be who you were destined to be.

1. Reduce Screen Time Before Bed

Our rest is highly important to our lives without the proper rest we often get things done slower or make several mistakes. With the proper rest, we are able to improve our overall health, increase our daily productivity and lowers our stress and depression. We should try our best to either eliminate or reduce the number of things that interrupt our good night’s rest.

Creating a realistic night routine that you can easily stick to, some people read for 15 minutes before bed but if you don’t like books don’t add that to your night routine. If you have a love for yoga and stretching you can do that instead of reading a book you don’t like. Reduce the amount of coffee you drink during the afternoon or even giving yourself a cutoff hour to stop completely. Before starting your night routine it’s important that you ween yourself off your electronic devices by thumbing through all your important notifications and leaving the rest for tomorrow.

2. Meal Prep Or Drink Prep

It’s amazing how much time we waste thinking of what we want to eat, whether it’s making a grocery list, grocery shopping, standing in line with your groceries and putting them away it takes forever. And if you’re like me you shop at Sam’s and have a freezer filled with food but still have no idea what you’ll be eating tomorrow. I strongly suggest you try meal prepping, it saves me time and my food is ready to go just sitting in the fridge ready.

Another thing that I like to prep is what I drink, I did this to keep track of how many sugary drinks I’m drinking throughout the week. I strongly suggest you use glass bottles that allow the bottle to have a sealing effect or pop sound when open from the warm drinks you make, so they won’t go bad quickly and last the entire week. But when I prep all of my drinks like tea, coffee, kombucha for the week I use that extra time that I used to spend fixing these drinks to just jump into my morning routine, I would typically put my coffee grounds in the machine but by the time I’ve gotten dressed for the day my coffee would be ice cold. So if this typically happens to you I strongly suggest you try out prepping your food for at least one week and see how it works for you.

3. Making A Daily/Weekly To-Do List

We all have a lot on our plate on a daily basis but it’s important that we get it all done, but sometimes we can get a little overwhelmed by everything we have to get done. Start each day by simply doing a brain dump and writing down everything you need to get done or using an app like Google Calendar for that week or day.

Then start by organizing them by importance or category so that you easily know which task to do first. Some people like starting with their easiest task for the day and some also start with the task they hate so that way they won’t dread doing it later. No matter which way you chose to get your to-do list done is up to you try them both if you have too, as long as you are making progress and getting things done.
