From 24 teams are fighting to prove internationally to be the best team in the world and bring pride to their region, and now we confidently have the best 2twoteams are very close to raising the Summoner’s Cup. Who are they? Let’s meet them!

FunPlus Phoenix

“Fly, Phoenix, Fly”

It seems like Riot Games scripted to us who is the winner for Worlds 2019 through Worlds 2019 songs “Phoenix.” Although this is their first time competing internationally, the Chinese first seed team does come in with a banger with super carry “Doinb” and talented jungler “Tian.” In the group stage, they have I would say one of the easiest groups of all time and expected to get the first seed from that group. And yes, they did get first seed; however, they went out with 4–2 records and almost got eliminated when playing against J-Team. In quarterfinals, they play against Fnatic, 2nd seed from Europe and Worlds 2018 finalist, this is their chance to prove that they can beat actual beat the favorites of Worlds. With a 3–1 victory for them, they did shows why opponent should fear Doinb’s Ryze and how well played Tian can do with genius jungle pathing. In semifinals, once again the 3–1 script and such an LPL fiesta, they beat the formal World Champion, Invictus Gaming, with NAUTILUS in the mid lane and their bot lane showed up when the team needed. Same with questions Rookie from Invictus Gaming from last year, will Doinb is going to be the next generation of Faker and soar high with his team like a phoenix during this Worlds 2019?

G2 Esports

“Where were you when the west rose up to conquer champion?”

-Riot Quickshot-

Our MSI champions, two times LEC titles, and the best team from the West are ready to take the last and the biggest international cups for their organization. Known for crazy picks, incredible drafts, and macro plays, they truly defined the meta on how to play modern League of Legends. Although going out with 5–1 in Group Stage and lost their first seed to Griffin on tie-breaker, they did show their dominance in best of one, which is better during Group Stage in MSI. In quarterfinals, they did show why their advantage on the best of five since they’re very open on their mistakes and keep a cool head during high-pressure moments. Perkz and Caps are having “Uma Jan” and “Claps” activated since they’re on a roll with many highlights through this World runs. In the semifinals, the MSI rematch versus SK Telecom T1, the highest viewership esports gaming event so far, according to EsportsCharts. Like expectation, both gave a very closed matchup, however, G2 Esports excellent macro play and how tilt-proof there are, they once again beat the greatest team of all time and prove this isn’t luck that brings them to the Final. Will the G2 become the first team wins a Grand Slam (winning both international and domestic tournaments) and without a doubt, the best League of Legends team of 2019?
