Is it possible to record the sound of a conference being streamed? The following are just some of the possible programs we’ve shared share below, that are specially designed to record and edit audio from multiple sources with different levels of complexity.

1. Adobe Audition CC

A set of professional Adobe tools to record, edit and create audio content. Although it is a program used by professionals, it is a good option for those who want to offer higher quality sounds, thanks to its multitrack display functions.

2. Apowersoft

The Apowersoft audio recorder is a simple and straightforward option when it comes to recording whilst talking in front of the computer. Apowersoft also offers multimedia products such as video and audio converters, screencast recorders as well as various related apps. Its audio recording program, called Streaming Audio Recorder, is simple but powerful, allowing you to work with multiple formats both for importing content and for exporting the final product.

3. Microsoft Sound Recorder

What if you want to record yourself into the microphone and little else? 6. Cyberlink’s AudioDirector

With this editor, it is possible to work with several audio tracks at once. Also, it contemplates the possibility of applying the same effects to all the audio files that you want to work with, shortening the editing time significantly. It is also ideal for creating soundtracks with surround effects to use together with videos recorded in 360º.

7. Free Sound Recorder

One of the most significant advantages of this software is that it makes it possible to work with different formats. Furthermore, it detects audio supported by each computer’s sound card and configures the settings based on this information. In this way, it optimizes the quality of the recordings and subsequent pieces of audio that the user edits.
