I wouldn’t exist without pineapple on my pizza!

It’s controversial!

Pineapple on Pizza is one of the most debatable topics, people can go to lengths talking about it and still won’t figure out whether it's a good idea or it’s a sin. Pineapple is frowned upon by sworn pizza lovers. Well, we still don’t know who came up with the idea of pineapple on pizza of all the things. I mean what were you even thinking before committing such a crime! Like why?

Some people argue that Pineapple is just not the correct topping on pizza as it has water which will soften the crust quickly, and mozzarella cheese just wouldn’t go well with the tangy wet fruit. But many people also argue that the taste of cheese pairs well with pineapple.

Gordon Ramsay, a Chef expressed his disdain on the same saying, ‘you don’t put…pineapple on pizza.’ Even the President of Iceland expressed his views, he said that he would outlaw pineapple on pizza if it was under his control. But a lot of Americans actually like pineapples on their pizza and they feel the salty cheese goes really well with the sweet and tangy fruit!

I’m an avid baker, and I love my pizza with lots and lots of cheese, chicken and capsicum, and corn. I haven’t ever made pineapple pizza. The thought of having pineapple on my pizza makes me all yellow but I wouldn’t mind trying giving it a shot. Trying and feeling the disgust is better than not trying and judging. And who knows I might just end up liking those thinly sliced pineapples on my pizza!
