If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life; what would it be?

One food forever isn’t fair!

One food for the rest of my life seems like a very difficult thing for me because it’s in human nature to get tired of one thing if served repeatedly. I mean as a kid I loved pancakes for breakfast, and I used to tell my mother that every day I want pancakes for breaky. Two weeks down the line and I didn’t feel like even looking at pancakes, eating was a distant dream.

I love the KFC chicken, it’s so crispy, juicy and the flavor is yummilicious. I always tell my friends that I can eat it like forever. But saying and doing it are two different things. I know a lot of people who have their favorite food routined into their everyday meal list, at least once in a day they have to eat it.

I can’t. Sounds weird but yes, that’s the truth. But if I gotta choose I will choose cereals. I think it’s a wise decision because if somedays I don’t feel like eating it, then I can simply drink the milk, and go to bed, or drink the milk and go to work. I can also munch cereals like a snack. Oh, wow, this already sounds cool to me. If it’s the survival of the fittest then one gotta choose wisely! Isn’t it?

I remember reading it online, I don’t exactly remember on which site, but it was written that if a person eats one food throughout for some days then it might cause him deficiency and sickness, which is very true. One food can’t give you all the nutrients needed for the body.

I stayed in a dorm for two years, during my university days, and we had a fixed food routine. Those two years were like a punishment. Initially, we were happy about the food but gradually it made us sadder! And with each day passing by, we just despised the food. The only option left was, order it or cook it. We were so too lazy to cook, so ordering it was!

I might sound a little sadist here but honestly, I wouldn’t want a life where I get to eat only one food thrice a day, forever for life. It sounds worst than a mundane Monday. Food is something that cures our mood, when sad eat chocolate, when happy eat cake, when down just eat whatever you want. Now imagine, one food for life, when happy eat pizza, when sad eat pizza, when down eat pizza, this kinda food cycle will cause a person to fall into depression.

So, one food for life seems like a terrible idea to me. I’m a foodie person and I can’t chew down one thing, food is the spice of life and no one should compromise on it!
