What is your Favourite day of the week?

For some of us, weekdays are the yay days!

Sunday has always been the favorite day of the week for everyone for years when everyone gathers around the table and indulge in long gossip sessions. A break from the busy and hustle-bustle days, Sunday is more like a festival in people’s life.

Completing my Masters, shifting to a completely new city for job purposes, where I have no friends, I no longer enjoy my Sundays. Yes, you heard it right! Back in university, we would wait for Sundays to arrive so that we can have a long nap but the cards have turned now. Maybe I have just turned too old for Sundays!

I honestly enjoy the weekdays when I’m at work, surrounded by the best people, my colleagues. It’s true when you start enjoying somebody’s company nothing else matters be it a working Monday or a lazy Friday. No sooner I head back home, there’s a gloom that I feel, as I have no one to talk to. I have my phone but real company over virtual any day, anytime!

My Sundays go by thinking about what to do, putting my clothes in the laundry and eagerly waiting for Monday to hit the clock. So for me, any day is my favorite day except Sunday unless I’m at my home. With all that said you can call me a Monday person!
