MICAVaani is the student run community radio station of MICA, Ahmedabad. Started in 2005,it is, quite literally, the voice of MICA. The Gujarati tagline Tamara Bol, Tamari Vaani means ‘Your words, your voice’. The metaphorical significance being, the radio shows primarily aim at bringing impact in the lives of people through effective communication with the communities residing in the villages. This communication is carried out by familiarizing the listeners with new developments in various fields such as education, health & sanitation, finance, farming, etc.

The shows are extremely fun and engaging. Constant inputs are sought from the community about the kind of content they would like to consume and improvements are made accordingly.

MICAVaani 90.4 FM

The best part about being at MICAVaani is that it provides entertainment along with community service (Also, an opportunity to be an RJ!). The radio station functions across different verticals such as Planning and Programming, Marketing, Research and Analytics, Media and Brandcomm, and Event Management. Needless to say, every vertical is run and managed by the students of MICA.
