A good add to the community! A medicine factory!
Our community is increasing in assets as we have implemented plans to build a medicine factory, creating a printing press and going on various expeditions to different caves. As I mentioned before, I will be contributing to the building of the medicine factory!
The community has divided themselves up into groups of who would be best to help with each project. There’s a smaller group of us working on the medicine factory than I originally imagined, but when there’s a will there’s a way! Among this small group are multiple doctors, a couple of farmers and a few builders. Not to mention a trader — myself. The doctors are pretty knowledgeable on what ingredients are needed for the specific medicine that we are planning on producing, therefore, I hope to be the one to make sure everything is going smoothly and assisting wherever needed at any specific time.
There are types of medicine that are simply made up of minerals and herbs, however, there are animal product medicine that some Tibetan doctors will use. Each different type of medicine can contain about fifty ingredients all mixed together, to make a pill. Tibetan medicine is classified into different categories according to the initial taste and its aftertaste. Each taste is associated with different illnesses or disorders.
The group of us has come up with a plan on what needs to be done and which of us will complete each task. We had to first decide whether we should build a completely new building, or renovate an isolated one. To be able to save as much money and resources as possible for other tasks, we have decided to renovate an old building to the east of our village. There is plenty of space around the factory for small farms, to grow our own herbs and what not. The builders must make sure that the building will become stable and that the specific rooms are built to standard for what needs to be done. They must also find out what machinery or equipment is needed, and what is the most convenient.
The farmers have taken on the roll to continue to nurture and keep their animals healthy, and to grow whatever herbs they can. The transportation of animal or herbal product has become a challenge but I’m sure they will be able to figure it out. Some of the doctors has decided to go out and find the necessary herbs, plants and minerals needed for the medicine. They have done their research on what is needed, and hopefully that all goes well, and they don’t encounter any weather issues, as we are in the middle of a season change…
Hopefully within the next month, the factory will be finished and up and running! With the season change, many people get sick, and the medicine will need to be on hand for the doctors right away. With this factory, there will never be a lack of medicine ever again, and our town will hopefully see a prosperous change!
That being said, before opening up the factory, there will be a ritualist needed to perform rituals so that the factory will be working well. One of our group members has a strong set of skills in ritual procedures, and she will be carrying out this process.
