  1. Tough week ahead for all in Olympic circles including fans, be empathetic to those you know. Many would have be in country or on the way to Tokyo 2020 by now. While much to look forward to, next week was THE week that many had looked forward to for years, if not a lifetime.
  2. @TeamUSA has announced a conversation on the Return to Sport in the US featuring Carli Lloyd, Kensa K. Gunter, and Dr. Jonathan Finnoff on 7/28 at 12pm EST. This free event is a must attend for an inside look at the new Road to Tokyo 2020. go.teamusa.org/3eAIVXG
  3. The Tokyo 2020 committee released the revised schedule for 2021 with the same venues and competition schedule. The “slight adjustments” in the schedule are small 10–20 minutes shifts, not days or weeks. Great news for those planning and re-planning. bit.ly/2ZCUU2L
  4. Fans returned to Japanese baseball last week, the upcoming sumo tournament in Tokyo announced fans. Many see these as a litmus test to confirm personal bias, whether concerned about prospect of any fans at Tokyo 2020 or looking for a return to normal. bit.ly/2DSxP3M
  5. Tokyo 2020 in 2021 may end up being a major opportunity for fans.Through several conversations continue to see organization commitments for 2021 are smaller than previously planned, encouraged by Tokyo 2020. Could create opportunity if fans in stands as currently planned.
