I’m sharing a few haikus for the fun of it. I am early in working with them, but I quite enjoy it. Some have the twist I aim for, while others are simpler considerations.

The towering tree

A very tall tree!
But then, how would I know that?
Said the tiny ant

A man’s joy

Joyous was the man
His family visited
At his funeral

Gilded love

Golden heart brings joy
Will you share your heart with me?
We’ll be filthy rich!

Farm life

Let us farm these lands
of life and wisdom of the
ages, ‘neath the sun

Grown

You left me alone
Felt less without you near me;
I’m so proud I’ve grown
