When we buy a new thing or a very expensive commodity, we take good care of that thing. Similarly, when you buy a vehicle of your favourite brand by investing a huge amount, you need to take good care of that vehicle. Because maintaining your car is also one of the necessary aspects when it comes to responsible driving.

You never know if you are travelling at night and your car might breakdown leading you at a risk. What if you are stuck in huge traffic and your car suddenly stops functioning. What if your car’s tyre suddenly gets punctured? What if your car’s battery suddenly goes down? There are many several reasons regarding your car, which will probably put you into trouble if you don’t maintain your car.

The vehicle has a life span of several years as there is a warranty of engine, tyres, battery and other accessories of the vehicle. But the most important reason behind the maintenance of your vehicle is that it provides proper ‘safety’ on the road.

Hence, adhering to the regular maintenance of your vehicle can help you cope up with such situations. It can make your vehicle run more efficiently. Also, regular maintenance can prevent you from costly repairs of the systems and an overall increase in the reliability & performance of your car. In the end, it may give you a higher resale value.

Therefore, here are some of the things you need to make sure of maintaining your car:-

  • Change the oil or oil your engine after every three months. Also, change the oil filter, air filter & fuel filter regularly.
  • Make sure that you check the transmission fluid regularly, which makes your car move smoothly.
  • Keep your battery clean and secured to avoid vibrating and keep the connections clean & tight at the terminals

  • Examine your emission system each year as it helps your car run smoothly & efficiently.
  • Inspect the brake systems regularly.
