Safety on the road is safe for life
Every human being on the earth tries to comfort himself with all the safety they want. His priority is to be safe while doing any activity at any cost. But when it comes to driving, he doesn’t want to feel safe as he just wants to enjoy the ride. In a miss, he doesn’t obey traffic rules and calls himself in a fatal moment.
Does nobody know what will happen on the road? However, there are traffic rules, traffic signals, traffic signs, etc. which makes our driving safety.
There are certain rules and regulations meant for the benefit of the people and these rules are not only for the drivers but also for the cyclists, pedestrians and other people. People should carefully observe all the rules and regulations and it is effective to be careful, considerate and patient. Traffic rules of the roads are both the laws and the informal rules that may have been developed over time to facilitate the orderly and timely flow of traffic.
Traffic signals hold maximum control to any road connections. It allows controlling the vehicle traffic by assigning the priorities to traffic movements and smoothes the flow of traffic.
The Road signs are very important in the traffic system as they are made for the safety of people. These signs and Traffic symbols have been categorized into 3 different categories-
· Regulatory Signs or Mandatory Signs- used to indicate or highlight traffic laws, regulations or requirements which apply either at all times or at specified times or places upon a street or highway.
· Informatory Signs-It provides information regarding direction, destination, roadside facilities, etc.
· Precautionary or Warning or Cautionary Signs- used to warn the driver about the hazards/situation lying ahead on the road.
The number of vehicles is increasing day by day on roads hence creating the crowd on the road and hence it havoc we see onboard. Hence, traffic rules & laws, traffic signals, and signs have become crucial to follow and everyone should follow to prevent road accidents.
