Game Review: Breach
Background
We hope you love adrenaline because this game is a true nightmare. Breach is a Roblox survival horror game developed by Breach Boys which includes Dev_Anthony and FierceByte. It was also their 2019 Summer Accelerator project. While the game may not be as popular as predicted, Breach makes up for that in quality gameplay and a spooky experience!
Gameplay
Players start off in the spooky lobby! Once a game begins players are transported into 1 of 2 possible maps. One resembles a graveyard and the other resembles an abandoned buildings. After you drop in and say your prayers you must locate several fuse boxes and attempt to override them.
Be warned! If you failed to hot-wire the fusebox a loud ear piercing sound will play. This sounds alerts the monster to your location. You must also do 4 of these while the monster is outside disposing of your fellow teammates. In my own experience we have only won twice. Typically I ended up being disposed of and put in the cages that the monsters slaps players in. It was also crazy how when the monster gets close to you the screen gets distorted and you this ringing in the background. It was fun attempting to survive in my play through.
Playing from the monsters point of view is a whole other world. When you’re in the monsters shoes you have complete control over the map. Your main objective as the monster is to stop the players from activating the various generators on the map and to put them in cages that kill them. Once you pick your unlucky target you pick them up and drag them into the cages. They can also fight back against use by button mashing if you aren’t quick enough. Once you put your unlucky target into the cage they will be sent back into the lobby until a new game starts. Players can also spectate the match and witness all of the events until a new game starts.

Verdict
All in all, Breach is a great example of Roblox Horror. It has a great mix of survival elements and manages to catch you off guard when you least expect it. However, the lack of players in this game made it difficult for me to find players to play with. We hope that Breach can maintain a steady following and continue to inspire the horror Roblox loves. We wish the best for Breach Boys and are ecstatic on reporting more information about their game in the future.
