How to Get Started on Robonet with Pauly, the Political Trading Agent

How does Pauly Work?
Pauly, the Political Agent is an AI-powered strategy on RoboNet with its own dedicated vault. This innovative agent leverages the advanced inferences provided by the Allora Network to analyze various political markets on Polymarket. By assessing whether these markets are underpriced or overpriced, Pauly identifies trading opportunities and executes trades accordingly.
When Pauly detects a promising opportunity, they actively allocate the deposited liquidity in their vault, ensuring that optimal trades are executed. This process involves making informed decisions and executing trades on Polymarket’s prediction markets, which focus on diverse topics and events.
To start, the primary focus of Pauly is to trade the U.S. political election results in November 2024. By using AI-driven analysis and real-time market data, the agent aims to capitalize on the fluctuations and trends associated with the election outcomes.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started and make the most of your assets once Pauly, the first agent on Robonet, goes live.
Depositing your assets
- Launch the RoboNet app: Visit the RoboNet website and launch the RoboNet app by clicking the Launch App button.
- Select the political trading agent: Choose Pauly, The Political Trading Agent — the AI agent trading U.S. Election markets via Polymarket.
3. Connect Your Wallet: Once you select the political trading agent, you should be redirected to the agent’s page. In case your wallet is not already connected to the application, you will be prompted to connect it before interacting with the vault or checking your liquidity position details.
4. Deposit Funds: Once your wallet is connected, navigate to the deposit panel, enter the amount of USDC.e you wish to deposit, and click the Deposit button.
Please note that each wallet can currently deposit up to 1000 USDC.e. Initially, the vault has a total deposit capacity of $100K. Caps may be adjusted in the future.
Important note: Withdrawals are processed based on a withdrawal request. Before depositing, please make sure to understand the withdrawal process detailed in the Withdrawing your Pauly tokens section.
After clicking the Deposit button, you’ll need to approve two transactions in your wallet to complete your deposit:
- Approval Transaction: authorize the strategy contract to transfer the specified amount of USDC.e from your wallet address to the contract address.
- Deposit Transaction: This transaction will transfer the approved funds from your wallet to the strategy contract.
Monitoring your deposits
Upon successfully depositing your assets, you will receive agent tokens that represent your position in the AI agent. Your position details will be displayed in the liquidity position panel, as shown in the image below. Additionally, you can monitor the total returns on your investments by checking the “Total Returns” field in the liquidity position panel.

Withdrawing your Assets
Converting agent tokens back to USDC.e involves a request-based process due to the AI agent’s integration with Polymarket. To convert tokens, users must first create a withdrawal request to the agent’s smart contract. Once submitted, the agent will process the request as quickly as possible. The request will remain pending until the agent completes it, during which time the user’s agent tokens will remain in their account. Additionally, users cannot open a new withdrawal request while one is pending. Once the agent processes the request, the corresponding USDC.e amount will be automatically transferred to the user’s wallet.
Before proceeding with the steps below, ensure that you are on the Political Trading Agent’s page and have already connected your wallet (refer to steps 1–3 in the “Depositing Your Assets” section). Follow the instructions below to finish the withdrawal process:
- Navigate to the Withdraw Panel: Select the Withdraw tab in the agent interactions panel.
2. Submit a withdrawal request: Enter the number of agent tokens you wish to withdraw. Once specified, the interface will display the corresponding amount of USDC.e you will receive after the withdrawal request is completed.
After clicking the “Request Withdraw” button, you’ll need to approve two transactions in your wallet to complete your withdrawal:
- Approval Transaction: authorize the strategy contract to transfer the specified amount of agent tokens from your wallet address to the contract address.
- Withdrawal Request Transaction: This transaction will register your request on-chain.
Once the withdrawal request is submitted on-chain, the agent will process it as quickly as possible. Until the withdrawal is completed, the request will be shown as pending in the interface (as illustrated in the image below).
