Introducing Robopolis, A Metaverse City On The Ethereum Blockchain

The wait is over!

We are so excited to announce that we are launching Robopolis, a metaverse experience on the Ethereum Blockchain powered by Bueno!

Robopolis is a place where you can explore the Robotos universe and interact with other users in real-time. You’ll be able to chat with other people, mint NFTs, play games, and earn quirky items by interacting with the game or completing missions; in other words, you will participate in a vibrant economy powered by the Ethereum blockchain.

We’re excited about this new way of exploring the world and hope you will be too!

📍 Computo Hall

The place to gather with the community for Town Halls and special celebrations.

Computo Hall’s inspiration comes from the architecture of the Mexican Brutalist architect Agustín Hernández, one of the last living masters of 20th-century Modernism, whose futuristic monoliths inspired movies like Blade Runner and Total Recall.

This Brutalist building will host a special event for the opening of Robopolis. Come to party with your Roboto friends and our special DJ guest, none other than the legendary Claude VonStroke from DirtyBird.

The DJ set will be on July 25th from 3:15–4:15 PDT/ 6 EST/ 5CT, after which there will be a hidden portal to DirtyBird after party.

Experiences available:

📍 Tailor

One of the goals for this year was to deliver tokenized garments experiences to Roboto Collectors; for this special opening, you can come to the tailor, pick up your Gala garments and celebrate with your friends.

The collection features high-quality dresses, suits, and punk jackets for bright expressionists. You can grab up to two tokenized wearables per Roboto, so hurry up because this boutique collection is limited to 2222 NFTs.

How do they work?

These gala garments are part of a collection of NFTs that could be used in the Microverse and traded in stores like Open Sea. In addition, there are dresses, jackets, suits, and some unique 1/1 pieces.

Are they free?

Yes, you just have to pay gas fees.

📍 MoRA

Inspired by MoMA’s impressive interior design and the Robotos community’s love of museums, we are opening the doors of MoRA (Museum of Robotos Art). This museum houses a fine-curated show featuring art from our past collaborations with Philip Colbert, Amrit Pal Singh, and Brian Morris; it also includes pieces from the Robotos Originals and Genesis Collection. And a special show curated by TIME is coming soon!

The exterior of MoRA is also inspired by Agustin Hernández’s work (left image), and the interior of MoRa features the Robotos Originals exhibition.

📍 Yoga Center

The Yoga Center is great for stretching those robot legs and relaxing. So come on in, sit, and enjoy a meditation session or just some simple stretches. The Yoga Center is where we are testing voice room technology. Don’t forget to activate your microphone and speakers so you can chat with other Robotos.

Come on in and get comfortable — we will have some great stretches and meditations for you to try out.

📍 Pirate Island

This island was once owned by Jay, the Cyborgo pirate, who searched for treasure there — and some say he still does!

If you own a pirate and have time to spare, pay this place a visit. Who knows what you’ll find?

📍 Bookstore

The Bookstore is the place to be for good reads. We have a wide selection of books on the history of Robotos and Robopolis, as well as fiction and non-fiction books that will keep you entertained for hours!

📍 Cinema

The Cinema is the place to be when you want to watch the best movies in the NFT space (Robyn, anyone?). It’s under construction, but will have all the classics and some of your favorite new releases. Popcorn time!

📍 Candy Shop

Ron and his team of candy-making experts have been crafting candies for robots for over a decade now — and they’ve got their fingers on the pulse of what’s hot in the robot world. So whether you’re looking for special treats for your boto body or want to treat yourself, in a couple of weeks, Ron will offer you the best non-fungible sweets at the Robotos Candy Shop.

📍 Robopet store

For our beloved little companions, we are building a Robopet Store; we have all the accessories you need to keep your Robopet happy and healthy. Come today with your Robopet and have some premium oil treats.

📍 Bar

Are you looking for an Irish scotch?

Beep-Boop Bar is the perfect place to enjoy some time with your Roboto pals. We will be refueling it with all types of beverages that botos love, like mullet light, soda pop, and oily beer, for now, you can’t enter, but we will have available beverages.

📍 Salon

Come into our Beauty Salon, where botos get their Mia bangs done, nails polished, and their chips cleaned out. It’s a great place to hang out when you want some me-time.

📍 Parks

Green living is a necessity in Robopolis. With five parks and numerous plants, trees, and nature trails, there is plenty of space for natural light to filter in and to breathe fresh air:

• Aurora park is a large park with a lot of trees and plants. You can take your Robopet for a walk here, play around or make some exercise.
• You can also visit The Boomboto park which is smaller, but you will find one of our top celebrities in Robopolis, make sure to grab a selfie! It’s behind the Police Station and has a hidden portal.

• Two Cyborgo face parks — beautiful places btw! You will find many flowers that bloom during springtime and two giant sculptures of Cyborgo heads and teleport transportation.
• Finally, we have the park outside the arcade, you may see a friendly robot policeman patrolling to keep order in the city. Chill, take a rest, and enjoy nature while Policeboto keeps an eye on you.

📍Robopolis workshop

The Robopolis Workshop is the place to go get your Robotos and Robopets upgraded.

📍 The York

The place where the Robopolis news comes to life, this is a one-stop shop for all things news, entertainment, and politics — not to mention sports. We produce newspapers that are distributed every morning, so botos usually come to our building to get theirs.

📍 Robotos GYM

Our Gym has everything you need to get in shape, keep yourself healthy, and stay that way. You can lift weights, ride a bike, or just stretch out on the floor if that’s what you’re into.

📍 Coffee shop

Our Coffee Shop is the perfect way to get a quick shot of coffee in the morning. Some botos prefer hot cocoil. With our brews, you’ll be ready to take on the day in no time!

Our coffee is delicious, but it’s not just great tasting — it’s good for you, too. It will give you the energy you need to get through your day.
