They Worried When We Arrived In Hong Kong, But Then We Started Executing!
Rocco moved here from San Francisco and started the Zeroth.AI accelerator with no product, no code, and just a tiny tiny idea. Mentors and investors didn’t take us seriously because all the other teams were much further along.
You know I am very worried about you guys. All you have is an idea. I will have to see how this one plays out.
Out of all the teams, I am worried about you the most. You don’t know what your startup is going to do.
Time to execute
The team at Rocco knew early on that we were going to war. We got heads down executing in the dungeon for 109 days straight which came to a head on Demo Day, when we finally came up for air.
During that time, we talked to potential customers every single day and built a Slack bot that people paid for. We validated that Rocco is something people actually want. More importantly, we discovered a huge vision to drive towards.
Rocco is your AI-powered social media marketer that you can bring with you anywhere. Slack is just one place that Rocco lives on. What if you could call him up on Facebook Messenger, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, WeChat, or even email? Rocco will be your automated workforce that removes the time and costs of doing social media marketing.
People are aligned with our vision
Some people think our mission is impossible. Some people think we’re a little crazy, but can see the same future as us. For example, Mark Bivens (Rude.VC) wrote on The Bridge about how he can easily see Rocco work well in the European market:
On AngelList, we were surprised to receive the highest signal amongst the Zeroth companies and had 197 people follow our page. Some of them are quite well known in the industry and some even asked for Rocco accounts! People want to be part of our journey and shape the future of using AI to automate their workforce.
