The Rocket Deck: Playing Cards based on Rockets & SpaceX
The Origin of Idea
We posted our initial designs of Rocket Science based playing cards on our Instagram Channel. The post was received very enthusiastically with tons of messages and comments. That was the point we decided to pursue with full efforts for a Deck of Playing cards on the theme of Rocket Science and SpaceX.

How the deck is organized?
The entire deck is themed on Rocket Science and SpaceX. Each Individual suits are sub-themed as follows:
Hearts: Rocket Science Concepts
13 cards on various fundamental concepts related to Rocket Science. 3 of them shown below:
Clubs: Epic Orbital Rockets
13 cards on epic orbital rockets of the world. Priority is given on the type of payload and any extra-ordinary features. 3 of them shown below.
Spades: Renowned Scientists and Innovators
13 cards on renowned scientists and innovators who have made significant contributions to the field of Rocket Science. 3 of them shown below:
Diamond: SpaceX, Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy
13 cards dedicated to Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy and various others tested works of SpaceX. 3 of them shown below:
Jokers
Just in case you got friends(!) who are flat-earthers. You got one card for them! And one card for a person whom we all love a lot — Elon Musk!
Background
We wanted the cards’ backside to share the story of the evolution of rockets. A trio of past, present and future images is what we came up with.

Quality

- Front side: Matte finish for good grip.
- Backside: Semi-glossy, for an aesthetic look.

Risks and challenges Playing Cards
We have worked through many iterations of design of each card and based on feedback from 1000s of fans on Instagram, finalized the artwork. We have tested the quality of sample decks from our manufacturing team and also got pricing and terms in writing. We have taken into account various factors that go into pricing and we are very confident in timely delivery of the product. As with any project, unforeseen events can occur, but we’ve done everything we can to keep unknown factors to a minimum. We are all ears to the feedback from backers and due to that, there could be minor adjustments to the design of cards seen in the above photos.
