Start Customizing Your Rocketbooks!
As the Education Consultant at Rocketbook, I’ve been attending educator conferences that has allowed me to meet teachers falling in love with Rocketbook. Being a teacher myself I understand that there is “no one size fits all” when it comes to using notebooks in the classroom. In fact, I personally need a monthly calendar and weekly schedule of my classes (because I can never remember my crazy schedule).
The question is — Can the Rocketbook really serve the wants and needs of EVERY teacher in EVERY subject in EVERY school and be the one and only notebook you will ever need? The answer is YES!
For example, last month I met Breanna Scott, a chemistry teacher at Mankato East High School Mankato, Minnesota. We were at the EdTechTeam Summit chatting about the usefulness of Rocketbook in our classes. She showed me her personal Everlast Executive Rocketbook with monthly calendars and other templates that she permanently customized into the book. Brilliant!
I’ve always loved the dot grid pattern on Rocketbooks that makes it easy to use the pages for a variety of different things. So it got me thinking — how could I improve how I use my Everlast? — So I got out Ultra-Fine Sharpies and non FriXion pens to customize my personal Rocketbook! Leaving the symbols and QR code unobstructed and making sure the ink dried before using water, I made blank calendars and schedules, a lesson plan page and gradebook template — WOW — #gamechanger!
Later Breanna said she will have her students customize their Everlasts as well, which will help them organize before uploading to the cloud with the Rocketbook app.
She suggested these ideas:
- Weekly and monthly planners
- Cornell system note pages for Science
- Lined paper for English
- Graph paper for linear Math equations
- Blank pages for collecting data
So my friends — personalize the Everlast for yourself! Customize it for your classroom and students, send us your ideas and check back for great new tips and tricks!
