As Rock and Roll was becoming very popular in the 50s and 60s, one artist who is known for being the king of rock, which is Elvis Presley. Many people want to become a star but Presley was born to be one. He had raw talent when it came to his music but he was also known for his unique and creative dance moves. Elvis’s music brought people together to have a good time and give out a positive vibe. Not so many adults were fond of his music and dance performances but the young teenagers loved his style of rock music. They felt his music was life changing and brought them so much life. During the time of his career, Elvis’s music influenced the young teenagers more about fashion and relationships. Elvis Presley became the worlds most popular music icons. He became the most biggest artist in Rock and Roll. While his career was growing, he was gaining more fans, they were all being drawn to his style of music, dance moves and good looks. To his popular in the music industry he was an artist that spoke to his fans through his music and he knew what they wanted to hear and thats what had made him gain so much popularity. He understood his audience and thats how artist today are as well.

Elvis and the black community

One thing about Elvis was that he was different then most artists, he treated everyone equally. During the time of his fame, the black community became quite fond of of him and his music because his style of music was similar to the way rock and roll was by black artists. Elvis’s music and personality was different than expected because he connected with the black community. Black artists had sole in them. The reason why Elvis’s music and style in his dance moves was similar to the them was because he had sole which made him connect with the black community. Even though some people weren’t a big fan of his music that make him change his style of music or the kind of person he was. Elvis Presley had positive energy that didn’t make anyone feel unwelcome. All he did was bring joy and good energy to people through his music.
