ROCKI ‘Staking for Artists’ Cycle #2 Announcement:
The new Mining rewards will start to release from the 27th November 2021, at 16:00 UTC+0. However, you can already now stake in advance.
What is ‘Staking for Artist’ on ROCKI?
Most DEFI users should be very familiar with Staking. Basically, it is a way to earn crypto-assets while you sleep! You can pledge your crypto-assets to a cryptocurrency protocol to earn rewards in exchange.
On ROCKI, staking not only brings you some rewards but also offers you a way to support your favorite artists. We believe this is an entirely new way to support your favorite artist, with sharing your staking rewards directly with your favorite artists.
Summary of the Staking cycle #1:
We announced the staking feature on the 18th October, 2021. The first staking cycle #1 started on 23rd October 2021, and lasted for three weeks. Here is a brief summary of the last staking cycle, #1
650,000+ ROCKI staked in the contract
130+ users and 70+ artists participated in the staking event
57,534.25 ROCKI distributed to users and artists (50%/50%)
APY was approximately 105% during the staking event
As we stated in the previous announcement, your stake is your vote. Our target is to benefit all of our supporters and artists in the long term. According to the performance of staking cycle #1, we have adjusted the reward levels for the next staking run to maximize the benefit for every stakeholder and to release the ROCKI token in a sustainable way.
How long will the staking cycle #2 last, and how many rewards will be released?
The staking program is a part of the community music mining feature, and it will run on a regular basis from now on. The staking period will be eight weeks for this second run, and the artist reward vesting period will be sixteen weeks.
The reward for staking cycle #2 will be 47,850.00 ROCKI Tokens (50% for Stakers, 50% for artists). We will adjust the reward levels for each staking cycle to make sure the inflation speed is appropriate and sustainable for the ecosystem and our beloved community and project backers.
How can I participate in the staking program?

The staking program is currently running on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network. You will need to bridge your token from Ethereum to BSC if your ROCKI tokens are on Ethereum. A detailed bridging instruction can be found here.
I still have some staking rewards / staked ROCKI locked in the first staking cycle; how can I claim / unstake them?
For Artists:
You can find an option to switch from different staking cycles under your ‘Account’ — ‘Earn ROCKI’ — ‘Bonus for Certified Artist’ Page
You can choose the right staking cycle and click ‘Claim’ to claim your ROCKI rewards in previous staking cycles.
For Stakers:
You can find an option to switch from different staking cycle under your ‘Account’ — ‘Earn ROCKI’ — ‘Bonus for Stakers’ Page
You can find how many ROCKI staked in the chosen staking cycle, click ‘Open’ if you want to unstake any ROCKI from the past staking cycles.
