If you’ve found your way here, you likely already have some inkling of what we’re about… But let me make it super clear:
Rockt is building the world’s most secure and transparent social trading and investment fund platform.
A bold claim, I know. However, through blockchain technology, we will make setting up and investing in a tokenized fund or copying your favourite trader simple, secure, and transparent.
We believe in a decentralised future, especially when it comes to trusting third parties with your hard earned money. We also believe in the incredible skills of a few traders, but copying them leaves no room for distrust and we hate the fact that current tokenised funds and social trading platforms aren’t transparent. Reputation shouldn’t be the only assurance you have that the numbers presented for their trades are accurate and that they will look after your money responsibly.

What if I said that if you had invested $100 in bitcoin in 2011, your investment would have been worth over $3m at recent all time high prices? If we’d been around then, imagine the possibilities!

This obviously begs the question, how do you take advantage of this opportunity? You could go it alone and spend all your spare time researching various cryptocurrencies in the hope of finding the next big thing, play your hand at day trading, or simply try signing up to an exchange to see what happens.
Before you rush over to google searching for “which cryptocurrency to invest in”, take a moment to consider that although the recent returns in cryptocurrency have been huge, so has the volatility. This high volatility has resulted in only a select few people being able to take advantage of these opportunities, at Rockt, we call these people Influencers. They’re the people in the inner-circle, the professional traders, the people you look to for advice, the ones who can help YOU trade successfully.
So what does this mean at Rockt? Our concept is quite simple, Influencers can share their trading strategy with other investors by creating a Rockt Social Contract or Rockt Tokenised Fund. Other investors can then search the Rockt Portal for Influencers who match their trading style, risk tolerance, and desired average return. Once a suitable influencer has been identified, users can choose to copy the influencer and have their trades automatically copy the trades made by the influencer.
This provides massive advantages and cost savings for both influencers and investors. Traditionally, an Influencer would have to have a wealth of technical knowledge to set up a fund, with Rockt it’s just the click of a button. Furthermore, with all transactions being recorded to the blockchain, investors can be sure that the track record of an investor is accurate.
