According to a report by SBNation, former Tennessee head coach Butch Jones has been contacted by Oregon State regarding potential interest in the Beaver’s coaching job.

Oregon State’s former head coach, Gary Andersen, resigned several weeks ago. The Beavers currently sit as 1–10 on the season.

Jones was fired by Tennessee after the team’s 50–17 loss to SEC-East opponent Missouri on Nov. 11. He notched a 34–27 overall record with the Vols.

Jones served as head coach of Central Michigan and Cincinnati before his time at Tennessee. He holds an 84–54 career record.
