This year we brewed a Belgian strong ale with candi sugar, cherries and raspberries. So kick your feet up on a barrel and get to know the new Private Reserve with these five facts about Santa’s freshest brew.

  1. Unlike most Rogue ales that use Pacman yeast, Santa’s Private Reserve is brewed with Imperial Gnome Yeast which takes much longer to process.
  2. This is the first Belgian Ale we have made for Santa. In previous years he asked for a hoppy Red Ale.
  3. Not only is it a new beer recipe, we also updated the bottle where you can see Santa resting his black boots on a barrel, while enjoying his new Private Reserve.
  4. This is the 16th year we have made a beer for Santa.
  5. Santa’s Private Reserve 2017 took home a bronze medal at this year’s World Beer Championship.

Santa’s Private Reserve Ale is available now in serigraphed 22-ounce bottles and on draft. Find Santa’s near you using Rogue’s own Beer Finder tool. For more information about the Revolution, visit rogue.com.
