Another Meeting Hall for Rogues

Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery Opens in Southeast Portland.

On December 15, the new Rogue Meeting Hall, Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery opened its doors at 928 SE 9th Avenue in Portland, Ore. The location, once home to the legendary Green Dragon Bistro and Pub, boasts 36 world-class Rogue beers on tap alongside 19 brews from independent breweries.

Rogue decided to convert the Green Dragon to a Rogue pub this past December after having owned the location since 2008. In that time, the focus has been variety, quality and the appreciation of craft beer.

A new tap system for 36 World Class Rogue beers has been installed.

But in the last eight years, both the neighborhood and the business evolved and the time had come to bring the full Rogue experience to the east side of Portland.

Booths have been added to the back wall of the pub.

The pilot brew system will allow Rogue to expand its collection of fresh, interesting beers. It will be used to experiment with new styles and flavors, and to provide our customers with a variety of interesting brews to enjoy. Long-time brewer Danny Connors will continue to operate the pilot brewery and craft exclusive specialty brews in close partnership with Rogue Brewmaster John Maier.

Updates to the pub itself will take place. But the staff and pub manager Russ Menegat will remain the same.
